26. KNIFE POSITION AND PRESSURE
DISPLAY STEP DESCRIPTION
» KNIFE POSITION AND PRESSURE
NOTICE:
The knife pressure needs to be adjusted depending on the thread in use. Adjusting the pressure too strongly leads to
premature wear and possible malfunction of the thread cutting device.

Activate the ADJUSTMENT WIZARD
(see 02.01. / Page 19).

turning by hand the display shows the
machine position in degrees. Stitch
length is set to

Turn the machine with the mechanical hand wheel until the middle screw

is at the front.

Loosen screw

Move the thread catcher

has a distance to the cutting edge of the knife

NOTE:
The knife pressure should only be strong enough for reliable thread cutting.
