Always replace the old rope guide to the newer model. Instructions for disassembling the old model and

Replace the rope guide if:
Inspection method:
The rope guide does not work properly.
Visual/Operational testing. See the rope guide in
operation. Look for smooth moving without any binding.
There are sharp worn edges towards rope exit.
