o Projector

PC’s Serial Port ; use this function to indicate and sync the communication port that the
projector is using.

PC’s Baud Rate
; Ensure that 9600 baud is selected.
o
Camera
- PC’s Serial Port ; use this function to indicate and sync the communication port that the
camera is using. See Section 1.4.4

ID : use this function to indicate the relevant
Camera ID
(communication address). This
number must match the ID set in the particular camera. See Section 1.3.1.1
o Vision ID : Use this function to indicate the Vision ID assigned to this particular camera. The
Vision ID is a combination of the board and channel number. See (see Section 1.4.4).
o
Initialization File
: This particular function is used to configure the location of the file containing
the configuration / settings parameters of the selected projector. All projectors must have a
configuration file, and must have the correct location of that file properly configured via this
function. Use the browse button
to select the file location.
o Advanced Configuration : These functions allow the user to import and export various script
files and modules into the current configuration file. See Section 2.3.8.1Appendix C for a
discussion of
AU script files.

Automated Setup
: This function carries the user through a guided setup of the required
prerequisites for AU to operate effectively and correctly.

Calibrate
: Once the
Automated Setup
or any one of the Maintenance convergence or
geometry functions are completed, use this function to allow
AU
to perform and automatically “fine-
tune” the projector-camera relationship and scale the AU operation appropriately.
