Basic Functioning
The
VideoJet X.21/G.703
unit is equipped with one LED which
indicates the operating condition of the unit. The following section
describe in detail malfunctioning indicated by the LED.
Power LED
If the green power LED on the front panel of the
VideoJet X.21/
G.703
is off and you believe it should be on, check the following
conditions:
l
Is the
VideoJet X.21/G.703
connected correctly with the
enclosed power supply to the power plug socket?
l Make sure the power supply is properly connected to a func-
tioning power outlet.
l
Check the voltage rate of 5 Volt from the power supply. If it is
correctly connected and the green power LED still does not
light you have to exchange the power supply by a new one from
your dealer.
l Check the power cord, if there are any apparent damages.
Green Power LED is blinking slowly:
l This does not indicate a malfunction but indicates that a con-
nection is established between another
VideoJet X.21/
G.703
unit.
The Power LED stays off after firmware upload and reprogram-
ming:
l If the Power LED does not come back on after a firmware
upload there may have been a problem during upload. Return
the system to your dealer. Closely follow the instruction for the
firmware upload. Especially make sure not to disconnect the
power supply during firmware upload and reprogramming.
