VideoJet X.21/G.703

 Manual

The settings in the “Data mode” group box define the data transmis-
sion between two 

VideoJet X.21/G.703

 devices, i.e. 

Video-

Jet

XS/GS

 sender connected to a 

VideoJet

XE/GE

 receiver. For 

transparent data transmission between each of the “camera” ports, 
mode “Transparent 1” must be selected.

Unlike transparent mode 1, with “Transparent 2” the binary data of 
the remote unit are transmitted with the control commands to a local 

NCP

 device. This option only makes sense if selected in combina-

tion with operating devices that support the control protocol 

NCP

.
