Connection to the G.703 Leased
Line
The supplied RJ45 ISDN cable must be used for connecting the
VideoJet G.703
to a DCE G.703-TA (data circuit-terminating
equipment) for leased lines.

To do that, connect the RJ45 connector of the
G.703
port to the
Vid-
eoJet G.703
.

Connect the other end of the connecting cable to port G.703 on the
DCE G.703-TA (data circuit-terminating equipment).
Once the
VideoJet G.703
has been connected to the transmis-
sion line, it can be connected to the power supply unit. Only use the
power supply unit included in the scope of supply.
The G.703 port of the
VideoJet G.703
supplies differential sig-
nals that are transmitted according to the ITU-T recommendation
G.703. The
VideoJet G.703
synchronizes itself with the exter-
nal clock and starts to transmit and receive data through the G.703
port. The G.703 transmission line must operate in full duplex mode.
