Step 2: Connecting to the
G.703 Transmission line
To connect the
VideoJet G.703
as a DTE (data terminal equip-
ment) to a DCE (data circuit-terminating equipment) use the deliv-
ered RJ45 connection cable.

Plug this cable into the socket labelled “G.703” at the rear side of
the unit.

Connect the other end of the cable directly with the DCE (data ter-
minal equipment).
A correct connection is shown in Fig. 3-3 below:
(1) G.703 DCE adapter (data circuit-terminating equipment)
(2) RJ45 connection cable for G.703 interface
