Apart from the superb video quality and the ease-of-use
VideoJet
X.21/G.703
does also sport some advanced features described
in the following.
Automatic Connection Feature
The advantage of conventional dedicated cabling lies in perform-
ance guarantee and availability. Automatic connection buildup has
been implemented to allow a connection to be established in the
same way as is possible on analog video cables, simply by plugging
into the X.21/G.703 leased line.
As X.21/G.703 leased lines provide a permanent and steady
stream of data they are extremely suitable for digital video transmis-
sion. If the network link is interrupted, an automatic mechanism
ensures that the remote partner is searched for continuously. The
connection is then automatically and autonomously re-established
by the
VideoJet X.21/G.703
when the network link is up again.
Once a video transmission has been established by the
VideoJet
X.21/G.703
, the data flow is only stopped if it is disrupted or the
network link is disconnected.
