12. Possible Malfunctions
WARNING
Risk of injuries due to moving parts, or risk of fatal
electric shock!
Always switch off the machine before installation,
maintenance and repair work. Before starting,
switch off the main switch and put on a padlock to
prevent the machine being switched on
inadvertently. Keep the key out of the reach of other
people!
12.1 Announcement
The machine itself keeps track of the necessary service
intervals. After 600 000 immersion cycles or 1500
hours’ running the announcement:
“Carry out Servicing”
appears on the display (1).

This announcement can be cancelled by the
STOP
key (10).
•
Please get in touch with the VC999 Customer
Service to have the servicing done.
The following message appears after 60 running hours:
‘Carry out decalcifying program’
•
This message can be acknowledged via the
STOP
(10) button.
•
Carry out decalcifying
(see section 13.1.2)
The decalcifying hour meter is always reset to zero
once the decalcifying program has been executed - it is
irrelevant whether decalcifying was carried out
prematurely or according to the program schedule.
