Accessing the
Inspection
Menu

The inspection menu contains the PatCo pattern detection function and the
jam preventer setup. To access the inspection menu, follow this step:

Press the inspection-menu icon button (Figure 10-1). The
inspection menu screen displays (Figure 10-2).

PatCo

The pattern detection function is not available at this time.

Jam Preventer

The jam-preventer setup menu allows you to transfer the scanner lockout
values to the jam preventer. (The jam-preventer function is not active when
the value is set to “00000.”)

To access the jam-preventer setup menu, follow these steps:

Press F2 (JAM). (Press F2 if you do not want to use the jam
prevention function.)The jam-preventer setup menu displays
(Figure 10-3).

2. Press F1 (ON). If scanner lockout values were entered in the

glue-pattern-edit menu, the “Transfer scanner lockout values?”
message displays.

Before pressing F1 (ON), you may
change the transferred values if
desired.
