Settings for using sync signals
Setting the sync signal
This section describes how to configure the different sync
signals.
You can select either 'MTC' or 'LTC' depending on the type of
received time code.
1. Press the MODE button.
The MODE indicator light comes on.
2. Turn the SELECT dial to '7.1 EXTERNAL TYPE'
then press the SELECT dial.
3. Use the SELECT dial to designate the sync
source type then press the SELECT dial.
4. The confirmation screen is displayed. Press the
ENTER button to execute the operation.
To cancel the operation, turn the SELECT dial to
'CANCEL' then press the ENTER button.
Once the setting is complete, the display returns to the
settings selection screen.
5. Press the MODE button.
The setting is completed and the display returns to the
default screen.
Pressing the MODE button mid-setting displays a confirmation
screen asking you whether or not to cancel the setting. Please
note that selecting 'YES' and pressing the ENTER button
returns you to the default screen and cancels all settings made
up to that point.
Selecting the frame rate

This section explains how to select the type of time code (i.e.
frame rate).
Configure this setting according to the time code being
received.
1. Press the MODE button.
The MODE indicator light comes on.
2. Turn the SELECT dial to '7.3 MTC/LTC TYPE'
then press the SELECT dial.
3. Use the SELECT dial to choose the MTC/LTC
type (30/29N/29D/25/24) then press the SELECT
dial.
4. The confirmation screen is displayed. Press the
ENTER button to execute the operation.
To cancel the operation, turn the SELECT dial to
'CANCEL' then press the ENTER button.
Once the setting is complete, the display returns to the
settings selection screen.
5. Press the MODE button.
The setting is completed and the display returns to the
default screen.
