up to that point.
Playback method
1. Input the audio signal to the AUDIO IN terminal.
2. Start the playback of a pattern phrase which has
the switchover timing set to 'BPM'.
The BPM indicator light comes on and the BPM is shown
on the Phrase no./BPM display.
3. Input the control signal to the 6 BPM COUNT
terminal.
BPM detection begins and the display changes as shown
in the diagram below.
Once the BPM has been successfully detected, the BPM
display flashes once and the detected BPM appears.
Phrase switchover is then performed based on the
detected BPM.
Even after successful detection of the BPM, the detection
continues as long as a control signal is input to the 6 BPM
COUNT terminal. The BPM display is updated when the
tempo of the input audio signal changes.
If the BPM detection fails, the playback continues at the BPM
configured for pattern phrases.
Even if a control signal is input to the 6 BPM COUNT terminal
before playback of the pattern phrase begins, the BPM
detection does not start.
Please therefore input the control signal to the 6 BPM COUNT
terminal after playback commences.
