Advanced settings for MIDI phrase recording

If you have selected the 'RECORD: MIDI' option, you can then designate the MIDI time base.

Item

Set values

Summary

Time base

192; 240

Designates the time base for MIDI messages.
If the time base for the connected MIDI device is 24, 48, 96, 192 or
384, select 192.
Alternatively, if the time base is 30, 60, 120, 240 or 480, select 240.

*  Some MIDI sequencers may output the MIDI audio source's setup information (such as the

tonal, volume & effect data for each part) when a song is selected. When using this type of MIDI
sequencer, start the sequencer song selection and playback after initiating the UDMR
recording.

*  It is possible to commence recording after receiving a start message from another MIDI device

and to terminate recording after receiving a stop message while recording is in progress. In the
record standby mode, recording begins after receiving a System Real Time message of 'start'
(FAH), and is terminated upon receipt of a 'stop' message (FCH).

*  MIDI real time messages are also recorded during MIDI phrase recording.
