Designating phrases with binary
signals
The following example describes how to perform binary
designation of phrase A015 (memory card: A; phrase no.:
015).
1. Convert the phrase number to a binary signal
number.
'0' (off)
'1': (on)
The phrase number '015' becomes the binary signal
'00001111'.
→
See the 'Phrase No./Binary Signal Reference Chart' on
page 59.
2. Select memory card A or B by turning the
control signal to terminal no. 9 on or off.
Memory card A: '0' (off)
Memory card B: '1' (on)
* When terminal no. 9 is not connected, the control
signal is deemed to be 'off', in which case memory card
A is selected by default.
As described above, phrase no. A0015 becomes the following:
Terminal no.
→
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
9
Input signal
→
1 1 1 1 0 0 0 0
0
Phrase no. (binary)
Card
Note that the phrase number (binary) and the terminal
numbers face the opposite direction.
If no binary-designated phrase exists, the playback signal is
ignored.
Please ensure that the binary signal-designated input is
completed within 50msec.
