Installation instructions
4.6 - HERMETIC INSTALLATION
Installation must be performed by skilled per-
sonnel, who shall be entirely responsible for
final installation and consequent proper oper
-
ation of the installed product.
Installation must comply with all national, re-
gional, provincial and municipal laws and reg-
ulations in the country in which the appliance
is installed, as well as with the instructions in
this manual.
The use of the device must comply with all
local, regional, national and European regu-
lations.
There will be no liability on the part of the
manufacturer if these precautions are not ob-
served.
In the case of a hermetic installation, the generator must be a
completely airtight product with respect to the installation envi-
ronment, which means that it is ideal for passive houses as it
does not draw in air from inside the house.
For hermetically sealed products only, the following instructions
must be observed during installation.
4.6.1 - COMBUSTION AIR
In order to keep the stove airtight, the connection pipe for com-
bustion air must be connected directly to the outside using suit-
able airtight pipes and fittings.
4.6.2 - SMOKE EVACUATION SYSTEM
• If the generator has a flue gas temperature of less than
160°C+ room temperature due to high efficiency (see technical
data), the smoke evacuation system must be absolutely resist-
ant to moisture.
• If there is a possibility of flue gas condensation, provide an
inspection Tee fitting outside the stove
4.7 - WIRING DIAGRAM AND
CONNECTIONS
Electrical connections must be carried out by
qualified and authorised personnel in compli
-
ance with the regulations in force in the coun-
try where the product is installed.
4.7.1 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Connect the power cable first to the stove and then to a wall
socket powered at 220 volts (+/- 5%).
When the stove is not in use, it is advisable to
remove the stove's power cable.
The cable must never come into contact with
the smoke exhausts pipe or any other hot part
of the stove.
If the cable is damaged, proceed with immedi-
ate replacement.
The power cable must not be modified.
4.7.2 - ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY
The electric system must be according to stand-
ards; especially check the efficiency of the earth
-
ing circuit. Inadequate earthing of the system can
lead to malfunctions for which the manufacturer is
not responsible.
Power supply variations greater than 10% can
cause the product to malfunction.
Connect the power cable to the rear of the stove
and then to a wall socket. The stove is now pow-
ered.
Also in the switch block, next to the power socket,
there is a fuse box. To open this box, simply re-
move the fuse housing by prying it out from inside
the power socket compartment with a screwdriv-
er. Inside there is a fuse (5x20 mm T delayed /
3.15 A 250 V), which may need to be replaced if
the stove fails to energise (e.g. the control panel
display does not light up) this should be done by
an authorised and qualified technician.
ATTENTION!
All cleaning and/or re-
placement of parts must
be carried out with the
mains plug disconnected.
Disconnect the product
from the 220V power sup-
ply before carrying out any
maintenance work.
If the cable is damaged,
replace it.
