Instructions for the installer
The boilers are manufactured for use with the type of gas
specifically requested when ordered.
DANGER!
The transformation of the boiler for
operation with a type of gas different from
the one specifically requested when ordered,
must be carried out by a technically qualified
person in compliance with the Standards
and regulations in force.
The manufacturer will not be held
responsible for any damages sustained due
to an incorrect gas conversion operation or
one not carried out in accordance with the
Standards in force and/or the instructions
indicated in this manual.
WARNING!
After having carried out the gas conversion
for boiler operation with a different type of
gas (for example: propane) from the one
specifically requested when ordered, the
appliance will be able to operate only with
the new gas type.
WARNING!
Indications for appliances operating with
propane gas:
Ensure yourself that before installing the
appliance the gas tank has been vented.
For a correct venting of the tank contact the
liquid gas supplier and/or legally qualified
personnel.
If the gas tank has not been correctly vented
it could cause ignition problems.
If this occurs contact the liquid gas supplier.
To convert the boiler for use with another type of gas the
following steps must be carried out:
1. Remove the front panel.
2. Turn the maximum adjustment nut (
A
)to about half it’s run
and turn the minimum adjustment nut (
B
) of one screw turn
as indicated on page 30-31.
3. Try to light the boiler, if it does not fire, proceed by slackening
the maximum adjustment nut (
A
) of one screw turn and try
to re-light the boiler. Repeat this operation until the boiler
is lighted.
4. Adjust the C0
2
value foreseen for the gas type (9 Nat. Gas
– 10,2 LPG), as described in the section “3.14 – BURNER
ADJUSTMENT”.
