SENSOR TECHNOLOGY
The fogger has an integrated Pir sensor, and can be combined with other
external sensors. The types of sensors currently supported are:
•
Pir motion sensor
•
Remote control
•
Magnetic sensor
The association and configuration of the sensors can be managed from
the Ufo Security app. The red LED on the fogger will flash 3 times quickly as
a confirmation following each change in sensor configuration (add sensor,
deactivate sensor...).
PIR MOTION SENSOR is a microwave-infrared sensor and is installed indoors. It
is placed on the wall and detects movement over an
angle of 90° and a distance of approximately 12
metres. The GREEN LED indicates microwave
detections, while the RED LED indicates infrared
detections.
Pir sensor sensitivity configuration:
1.
Open the plastic casing by inserting a thin object
such as a screwdriver into the hole at the bottom
of the sensor.
2.
BATTERY PLACEMENT : Connect the battery and
wait approximately 2 minutes for the operating
mode to be reached; during this time the GREEN
LED and RED LED will flash alternately. When steady state is reached, the
LEDs will stop flashing;
3.
LEARNING : The learning of the sensor in the system can be done by
generating a Tamper alarm (by releasing the blue Tamper button) or by
inserting the battery in the learning phase.
4.
RADIO COVERAGE TEST : With the battery disconnected, press and hold the
Tamper and connect the battery, when the red and green LEDs light up,
release the Tamper. The flashing of the green LED indicates a good radio
signal, the flashing of the red and green LEDs indicates an inadequate
radio signal, no flashing indicates no signal. To exit the Test, press the
