TOTAL AND PARTIAL WEAPON
Each sensor has an associated ‘zone’, and this can be set as Total or Partial.
The fog machine can therefore be configured in the following 2 ways:
- Total Arming: Firing will be triggered if any sensor associated with the
machine sends an alarm command to it;
- Partial Weapon: The shot will be triggered if any sensor configured in
the Partial zone and associated with the machine sends an alarm command to
it.
For example, if I have a two-room apartment with 1 UFO and I want to be able to
decide when to trigger the sensors in room 2, I can set the sensor zone in room 1
as Total and the sensor zone in room 2 as Partial. So:
- By performing a Partial arming, only the detections in room 1 will trigger
the fog alarm.
- Performing a Total arming, both the detections in room 1 and room 2
will trigger the alarm to the fogger.
The input for firing on the Power Unit (Shot) and the built-in Pir are always set to
Total.
N.B.: It is not possible to switch directly from Total Weapon to Partial Weapon
and vice versa. It is necessary to go through the DISARM state first, and then
re-arm the machine in the desired mode.
