DT Clamp Installation
Inside the wireless sensor package, you will find the following components:
•
Wireless sensor (inside which you will find the battery, for information on
how to replace it go to the section “Changing sensor battery”);
•
Wireless sensor bracket;
•
2 screws of the same length with 2 rawlplugs for fixing to the wall;
•
1 longer screw to secure the sensor to the bracket;
•
4 black jumpers (not required unless an electrician has modified the
sensors).
Procedure for attaching the clamp to the sensor:
1. Lean the clamp against the wall and drill two holes with a drill machine at
the two side holes of the bracket;
2. Insert the rawlplugs and then the 2 screws of the same length inside the
holes to stabilise the bracket (photo 1);
3. Open the sensor and remove the board inside, pushing one of the two tabs
out (photo 2);
4. Drill a small hole with the drill on the back of the body, at the striped reliefs
at the top (photo 3);
5. Insert the longer screw with the head inside the sensor (photo 3);
6. Insert the protruding screw into the outer hole of the bracket and screw in
all the way (photo 4);
7. Adjust the tilt a of the sensor as required and close it again.
