Make it winter-proof
WARNING: Please always drain the water from the heat pump during winter time, or if the ambient temperature falls below 0°C. Otherwise the titanium heat exchanger will be damaged
irreparably by frozen water, which does not fall under the guarantee.
• Switch off the heat pump and disconnect the device from the power supply.
• Drain the water from the heat exchanger. For this, remove the water inlet and water outlet connections on the heat pump.
• Store the device at a frost-free location. In order to prevent damage to the device through condensation, do not protect the device with an airtight covering.
Fault search and elimination
If your heat pump does not function properly, this can have different reasons:
• The heat pump takes a 30 second „pause“ before it starts operation.
• The heat pump switches off when the water in the pool has reached the required temperature.
• Possibly there is a malfunction in the heat pump (see table further below).
Fault
Code
Cause
Solution
Fault from too low ambient temperature
P0
The ambient temperature is below 12°C
WWhen the ambient temperature rises above 13°C, take
the heat pump into operation again.
Sensor Water temperature
P1
Interruption or short circuit
Test the sensor and replace it as appropriate
Sensor Ambient temperature
P2
Interruption or short circuit
Test the sensor and replace it as appropriate
Protection against too low pressure
EL
Low-pressure switch has failed or detached
Test the switch and replace this as appropriate
Not enough coolant
Check whether there is a gas leakage, top up coolant
Insufficient water circulation
Clean the air heat exchanger
If you have checked all the above-designated points and the problem persists, please contact your retailer.
Correct waste disposal of this product
Within the EC, this symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of through domestic waste. Old devices contain valuable recycling-capable materials which should undergo further utilisation and in order not to
damage the environment and/or human health through uncontrolled refuse disposal. Therefore please dispose of old devices using suitable collection systems.
Guarantee
For this product, a guarantee of two years from purchase date applies for verifiable material and manufacturing faults. In order to use this guarantee, original proof of purchase must be produced. This guarantee does not cover any claims through
faults in assembly and/or operation, insufficient maintenance, damage through frost, inappropriate repair attempts, utilisation of non-original spare parts, use of force, faults by third parties, overload, mechanical damage or damage through for-
eign bodies, changes to the device, replacement of the coolant by an a coolant other than indicated on the rating plate, utilisation of the device in conditions which are outside of the employment limits designated in these operating instructions.
In addition, claims arising from damage and/or problems with wear parts are excluded from this guarantee.
