BEFORE FIRST USE
Important!
The inclination angle of the ice
cube maker should not exceed 45° during
transportation or use. Do not turn the ice cube
maker upside down. Doing so could cause the
compressor or refrigeration system to operate
incorrectly. Please wait for about 2 hours to
allow the fluids in the compressor to settle
before using it for the first time. Do not use the
appliance in cold environments below 5°C.
1. Unpack the appliance and make sure that all
accessories are complete.
2.
For FA-5104-2 only:
Install the carrying
handle (10):
Pull the handle apart slightly and insert it into
the corresponding openings of the housing.
Check that the handle properly snapped in
place.
3. Place the ice cube maker on a dry and level
surface in a suitable place with sufficient
ventilation.

the chapter “CLEANING & MAINTENANCE”
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Ensure that the drain plug (1) at the bottom
of the unit is properly closed.
2. Connect the ice cube maker to the wall
outlet.
Note:
Let the unit rest for 30 minutes after it has
been moved.
3. Open the lid (2) and remove the ice basket
(8).
4. Fill the water reservoir (4) with drinking water.
Do not exceed the MAX water level mark (5).
5. Insert the ice basket and close the lid.
6. Press the “SELECT” button to choose the
desired ice cube size, then start the process
by pressing the “ON/OFF” button.
Note:
The standard ice-making cycle takes
about 7-9 minutes, depending on the ambient
temperature, water temperature and selected
ice cube size. The ice making cycle starts by
pumping water into the ice tray, which is
located under the evaporator. Over the next
7-9 minutes ice forms on the evaporator. Once
this is completed, the ice tray tilts back and
the remaining water in the ice tray flows back
into the water reservoir. The ice cubes are then
dropped from the evaporator and pushed into
the ice basket. The ice tray automatically returns
to its position and the next cycle starts.
7. The “ICE FULL” indicator will light up when the
ice basket is full. In this case, the ice-making
cycle stops automatically. Gently remove the
ice from the ice basket with the ice scoop (9).
The ice cube maker will restart its ice making
operation automatically.
8. The “ADD WATER” indicator will light up when
the water reservoir needs to be refilled with
water. In this case, the ice-making cycle stops
automatically. Remove the ice basket, fill
water into the water reservoir, and then press
the “ON/OFF” button to restart the ice-making
cycle or it will restart automatically after a
certain time.
9. When you have got your desired amount of
ice, stop the ice making cycle by pressing the
“ON/OFF” key and unplug the power cord
from the wall outlet. Open the top lid and
transfer the ice to a freezer.
Note:
Please empty the water reservoir if the
ice cube maker is not used due to hygienical
standards.
