15.4 Operators’s Quality Check Procedure for TERMI-POINT

15.4.1 Introduction
This publication is intended for use by tool operators as an inprocess inspection procedure for TERMI-
POINT clip applications. To assure a satisfactory level of quality during clip applications, the tool operator
should visually inspect every clip application and should perform non-destructive clip retention (tensile pull)
tests as described in the following procedure.
15.4.2 Clip Application

0.8 mm x 1.6 mm and
0.8 mm x 2.4 mm
NOTE
Tyco recommends use of this procedure as an essential part of an effective
quality control program, although it may not sustitute such a program.
