Changing the circular brush (option)

1. Park the host vehicle and the sweeper securely. See

Maintenance preparation

2. Swivel the side broom to the normal position, compare section

Swiveling the side broom to the operating/normal position

3. Ensure that the hydraulic circuit is depressurised, see the

operating manual of the host vehicle.

4. Close the shut-off valve (1).

5. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses (2) from the quick-release

couplings (3).

6. Seal the quick-release couplings (3) and hydraulic hoses (2)

with dust caps (1).

7. Dismantle the circular brush.

–  Take the unladen weight of the circular brush into account.
–  Remove the three nuts (2) on the circular brush flange (1).
–  Remove the circular brush.

8. Bolt on the circular brush to the circular brush flange (1) using

new self-locking nuts (2).

Readjust the side broom after replacing the circular brush, see
