ADJUSTMENT OF BREAKING TRANSMISSION

-Place the brake lever in released position.

-Check the clearance between the latch

activating the brake cable and the push piston.

The clearance should be about 2mm.

-To adjust the clearance; act on the tightener:

*loosen the nut.

till you obtain the desired clearance.

*retighten the nut

BELT AND SLIDING PLATE CONTROL

To check the wear of the belt and of the self lubricating polyethylene sliding bearing, com-
pletely slacken the belt, lift it with a hook and check:

the bearing’s thickness above its four attachment screws

the wear of the belt’s strips
