To save the changes, press [PRIOR] and ans w er yes w hen prompted to save the

5.8.6.13 F ac to r y T e sts
The F ac to r y t e sts... menu conta i ns tests that are used at the factory dur i ng system
test i ng. These tests are ava il ab l e to the user because some of these tests may be
usefu l i n the f i e l d dur i ng troub l eshoot i ng.
5.8.6.13.1 V i d e o T e sts
These tests are used to exam i ne the d i sp l ay for ma l funct i on i ng p i xe l s, data li nes,
etc.
The A C U must be i n Standby, and the port perform i ng the test must be at Operator
or Superv i sor l eve l . Dur i ng the test, the [ST OP]/[RESU ME] keys are st ill operat i ona l .
To execute the V i d e o t e st , use the fo ll o w i ng procedures.
1. From the M a i n m e nu... , se l ect Ed i t syst e m c onf i gu r a t i on... , F ac to r y t e sts... , and
V i d e o t e st .
2. If the A C U i s not i n Standby mode, a message w ill appear a l ert i ng the operator
to th i s fact and w hen the [EN TER] key i s pressed, the A C U w ill return to the
menu.
If the A C U i s i n Standby mode, a w arn i ng message w ill appear to a l ert the user that
the d i sp l ay w ill be b l anked for the test.
3. To beg i n the test, ans w er yes to the prompt and press [EN TER]. Note that the
[PRIOR] key may be pressed at any t i me to term i nate the test.
4. Press i ng the [EN TER] key w ill step through the test, w i th the fo ll o w i ng
cond i t i ons occurr i ng i n the order li sted:
