Automatic transmission fluid temperature warning light 
(vehicles with non-Optitron type meters)

Indicates:
• Automatic transmission fluid temperature is too high if the 

light comes on.
Stop the vehicle in a safe place, shift the shift lever to P 
and wait until the light goes off. If the light goes off, you 
may start the vehicle again.

• Malfunction in the automatic transmission system if the 

light flashes.
