Prepare the same type of oil and grease as for the positive tappet cam shedding motion specified in
[3.2] above.

For the lubricant type and quantity to be applied to the dobby, refer to the manufacture’s manual.
For other sections of the machine, prepare the same type of oil and grease as for the positive tappet
cam shedding motion specified in [3.2] above.
[ 4 ] Lubricants Required After Production Weaving
Prepare oil and grease by referring to the quantity listed below.
After approx. 60 million picks (approx. 2.5 to 3 months) from the first operation, it is necessary to
replace the oil for the gearing box, tappet cam box, tucker housings, let-off drive box, and electroni-
cally controlled take-up motion reduction gear. Be sure to order the specified oil according to the
schedule.
