Positioning the EDP stand
Refer to JAT710 INSTRUCTION MANUAL, Chap-
ter 5 Picking Motion.

Wiring and piping between the main
unit and EDP stand
(1) For 1-color or 2-color specification
No EDP control box is provided on the EDP
stand. Connect the wiring and EDP push valve
piping connectors in the lower part of the LH
frame.
(2) For 4-color to 6-color specifications
1) Connect wires 1 through 4 to the EDP control
box as shown by the photo on the left side.
2) Connect the receiver module optical fiber
cable 4a and sender module optical fiber cable
4b to the connectors on the EDP control board
as shown at left.
Take care not to bend the optical fiber cable at
sharp angles because it is easily affected by
bending stress.
3) Connect the connectors for EDP for colors 1
and 2 in the lower portion of the LH frame as in
the case of the 1-color and 2-color specifica-
tions.
4) Connect the pipes for EDP push valves.
When moving the EDP stand, have at least two
workers handle the job. It is very HEAVY.
Using a cart will make this job easier.
