(Perform once every 6 months)

Remove the side panel (left).
There is an opening/closing
tool (accessory) on the
backside.

Close the water supply valve.

CAUTION
Do not remove the
water fi lter drain valve
while the water supply
valve is open.
(Otherwise, water may spray
out)

Remove the remote control
from the hanger, then press
[WAND CLEANING] on the
backside of the remote to
extend the wand.
(Page 17)
Press [WAND CLEANING]
again to retract the wand.
(For releasing the pressure inside the
water pipes.)

Unplug the power plug.
[Asia, Oceania, Middle East]
Switch the breaker on the
distribution board to OFF.

Loosen the nut on the water
supply valve to remove the
water

lter.
Use the opening/closing tool

(accessory) on the backside of the side
panel (left).

Remove the water

lter and
clean with a toothbrush or
similar instrument.
Do not use detergent

Do not apply excessive force to the

water fi lter (could cause deformation)
Replace the fi lter when it is very dirty

or clogged.

Insert the water

lter into the
nut and insert the nut into the
water supply valve.

Tighten the nut on the water
supply valve.

Open the water supply valve
(Page 15)

Check that there are no leaks in the water

supply valve or plumbing connections.

Mount the opening/closing tool to
its original position and reinstall
the side panel.

Insert the power plug.

Switch the breaker on the
distribution board to ON.
