Executing the Diagnostic Test
Toshiba MS-DOS is required to run the DIAGNOSTICS program. To start the program follow
the steps listed below:
1.
Insert the Diagnostics Disk into the computer’s floppy disk drive and turn on the
computer. (The Diagnostics Disk contains the MS-DOS boot files.)
NOTE: To execute the CD-ROM test, make sure the CD-ROM and CD-ROM
drive are installed in the computer and that the external FDD is attached to
the FDD port.
The following menu will display:

1 - DIAGNOSTIC TEST

7 - FDD UTILITIES
8 - SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
9 - EXIT TO MS-DOS
0 - SETUP

: Select items
Enter
: Specify
Esc
: Exit
NOTE: To exit the DIAGNOSTIC TEST menu, press the Esc key. If a test
program is in progress, press Ctrl + Break to exit the test program, or Ctrl +
C to stop the program.
2.
To select the DIAGNOSTIC TEST menu from the DIAGNOSTICS menu, set the
highlight bar to
1
and press
Enter
.
