Removing the touch pad  

The following describes the procedure for removing the touch pad (See Figure 4-31). 

1.

 

Peel off the 

glass tape

 and disconnect the 

touch pad flat cable

 from the connector on 

the touch pad. 

2.

 

Remove the following 

screws

 securing the touch pad plate.
