The DSP-D300 uses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology to provide 
superior data recovery from noisy radio signals.  Figure 40 shows how the DSP-
300 processes information.  FM Audio from a Base Station Radio receiver is 
demodulated and each incoming data packets is converted to binary.   Binary data 
is then sent to a packet distributor in the CPU, which passes the packets to COM 
(Local), where it appears as RS-232 serial data; the IFLOWS Packet Checker; to 
USB Control; and to the Ethernet Controller.
