I want to configure a firewall on my supervision
network. Which TCP and UDP ports should I authorize?
Here is the list of TCP and UDP ports you should authorize to guarantee
that Amethyst III works properly:
 TCP ports:

HTTP: 80
 Web GUI: 4146
 Downloader: 4192
 UDP ports

EquipmentSetup: 68
 NTP: 123
 SNMP: 161
A FEC deactivation alarm is raised, what should I do?
In which cases is FEC deactivated?
The FEC may be deactivated if:
 The FEC board correction or generation limit has been reached. In this
case, the FEC analysis is deactivated for the whole platform
 If FEC correction or FEC generation is requested for an input IP session
that is not over RTP or with counts a variable number of TS packets
per datagram. In these cases, the FEC generation or correction is
deactivated.
What happens when FEC is deactivated?
When FEC is deactivated, the following events occur:
 An alarm is raised per concerned input/output.
 The status of the corresponding element is set to warning .
 The FEC processing is deactivated, only the main IP session is
broadcast.
The related output sessions are impacted by the FEC activation or
deactivation operation. Several IP packets may be dropped.
