We notice that the status is Unlocked , which means the streams are not
synchronized.
Searching the Real Input Delay Value
If the delay between the switch is not indicated, add fixed time delay by
step of 500 ms, alternatively on the first and the second input until the
switch locks.
1. Go back to the configuration, in the Switches view.
2. Double-click the switch item.
3. Check the Apply time delay box, and specify:
 The delay (Duration)

The input on which the delay should be applied
Try the following steps until Amethyst III indicates the real delay, or check
if your streams are identical if the time delay is incoherent with your
system latency.
- 500ms delay on first input
- 500ms delay on second input
- 1000ms delay on first input
- 1000ms delay on second input
- etc.
Refining the Delay Settings Using Time Delay
The goal is to set the Search /- parameter at a reasonable
value, because it has a strong impact on the equipment latency time.
The average input stream latency is equal to:
 Time delay + search window on ASI platforms

Time delay + search jitter on IP platforms
To synchronize the streams, you need to delay the input that is in
advance, that is, in our example, ASI input 4, so that it arrives at the same
time as ASI input 3. To do so:
1. Go back to the configuration, in the Switches view.
2. Double-click the switch item.
3. Check the Apply time delay box, and specify:
 The delay ( Duration ) to 600 milliseconds.
 The input on which the delay should be applied (the input that
gets the stream more quickly), that is, ASI input 4.
