8.3.2 Steel wire baskets
The wire baskets are well suited for assembling and transporting sterilization loads.
Due to their low weight, they are very user-friendly.

Loading the steel wire baskets

Clean and disinfect the items to be sterilized thoroughly.
Solid items can be arranged in the steel wire baskets as follows:

Without wrapping or packaging,
•
Wrapped in a cloth,
•
Sealed in their primary packs.
Porous sterilization loads (laundry) should be placed in the steel wire baskets
folded, but not too tightly.
