7.1 Introduction to Maintenance and Service
This chapter describes the routine maintenance and service and repair
procedures that the user may perform.
Additional maintenance or service procedures must be performed only
by service personnel certified by Thermo Fisher Scientific (for brevity,
referred to as Thermo Fisher Scientific service personnel).

The detector is designed for easy maintenance and service. The user-
serviceable parts of the detector can be accessed from the front, the
rear or the right side. If not stated otherwise, the maintenance
procedures do not require that you remove the detector from the
system.
