Use the following procedure to remove the optical bench from the 
instrument case. 

Equipment required: 

Phillips drive, #2 

1.

 

Turn instrument OFF, unplug power cord, and remove the cover 
(

Figure 2–1

). 

2.

 

Unplug DMC cable J3 (top). Unplug heater cable J7. Unplug case fan 
cable J12. 

3.

 

Disconnect plumbing as shown. 

4.

 

Using a #2 Phillips drive, unfasten six captive hardware.
