Performing a Pretrip Test
If a Pretrip Test is initiated with the engine shut down, a Full Pretrip Test will
be performed. If a Pretrip Test is initiated with the engine or electric motor
running, a Running Pretrip Test is performed.
•
Before initiating a Pretrip Test, clear all alarm codes.
•
To stop a Pretrip Test at any time, turn the unit off. Alarm Code 28 Pretrip
Abort will be set. Other alarms may also be set depending upon test in
progress when the test was terminated.
Pretrip Tests are initiated using the Pretrip Menu. From the Standard
Display, press the MENU key.

The Language Menu or Alarm Menu will appear. Press the NEXT key as
required to display the Pretrip Menu. When the Pretrip Menu is shown, press
the SELECT key.

If the unit is not running, a Full Pretrip Test will be initiated. If the unit is
running in either diesel or electric mode, a Running Pretrip will be
performed.
