Before starting to edit 

This section explains the basic editing functions of the unit. Please finish all the editing before finalizing the disc.

 

You

 

cannot edit the contents on a finalized disc. 
You can perform the editing functions on video titles only.

DVD+RW discs, after performing editing function of inserting, renaming or hiding chapter marks on a video

When a recording is made to disc, the following additional 

information is also stored at the beginning of the recording:

Date of the recording 

 

• 

Name of the recording 

If no name has been allocated to the

 

TV channel, only the

 

program number and the time will be stored as the name.

Time of the recording 

 

• 

Length of the recording 

 

• 

Record Quality 

 

• 

Index picture of recording 

 

• 

Your disc remain time 

In  the  title  menu  of  recordable  disc,  the  remain  time  will

be

 

displayed. If there is not enough time remaining on the 

disc, please change a

 

new  recordable  disc  or  change  your

record quality to lower

 

quality. 

A marker will be set every 5~15 minutes if the

 

Auto Chapter function is activated in the SETUP>RECORD menu.

 

This marker

 

is known as a chapter.

 

These markers can be changed when the recording has finished.

On the video title, please select

 

“Disc-info” by using right key and press ENTER, you will be shown the below information. 

 

• 

How many titles have been deleted/recorded 

• 

Next record max time.

 

 

 

• 

Total remaining time.

 

 

Select OK to exit 

 

Note: Before recording a new title on the disc. Please refer to the above information.

Managing  The  Title

 

 

• 

Multi-import: Import Disc title to HDD. 

On the video title, please select ”Multi-import” using the ENTER key. Use the right arrow key to select the title(s) (one or 

more), then you can

 

import the selected title(s) to HDD from the disc. 

 

• 

Multi-delete: Delete the title from Disc. 

On the video title, please select ”Multi-delete” using the ENTER key. Use the right arrow key to select the title(s) (one or 

more), then you can delete the selected title(s) from disc.
