OTR (One Touch Recording)
To record playing content while watching
The One
Touch Recording feature is to record the currently playing
content to
DVD+R/RW,
DVD-R/RW or HDD.
For One
Touch Recording to work, make sure that a recordable
DVD+R/RW or
DVD-R/RW disc is loaded, if you want to
record to
DVD+R/RW or
DVD-R/RW.
If there is no disc loaded, the icon will appear on the screen if you are in DVD mode when the RECORD button is
pressed.
1.
During playback, press MEDIA to select
DVD, HDD or CARD.
2.
During playback, press RECORD to record the currently playing
content.
3.
To stop record, press STOP.
Note:
This function depends on the disc memory and the selected record mode.

Timeshift Function
Do not miss a scene from a live broadcast. For instance, when you enjoy a live show, you can press this button to pause that
program anytime if you need a break.
When you return, you can continue watching that program from the point you stopped it
without missing any particular part, as the recorder has recorded the content while you were away. (When in the timeshift
mode, the system starts recording to a buffer on the HDD and will start playback from the same buffer.)
1.
Press
TIMESHIFT to record to the buffer on the HDD and the frame will be paused on the screen.
2.
The frozen frame stays on the screen until the PLAY button is pressed to start timeshifted playback.
3.
In timeshift mode you can still can use the common playback controls such as PAUSE and BACKWARD/FORWARD.
4.
Press DISPLAY for timeshift progress bar to appear.

Press
DISPLAY again to close the timeshift progress bar.
6.
Press STOP to stop timeshift function and to resume normal playback.
Jump to Start during Timeshift

Press the BACKWARD button to jump to the beginning of the timeshift.
Jump to End during Timeshift
•
Press the FORWARD button to jump to the end of the timeshift, which will bring you back to the live television show.
To Exit the Timeshift

The timeshift mode is ended when you press TIMESHIFT or STOP, change the channel or video source, or begin any
other
application.
Note:
In Timeshift mode, pressing the SETUP button is invalid.
