The charging and discharging capacity can be increased by increasing the number of Sunny Islands. The number of Sunny Islands is
increased in steps of 3.
1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 Sunny Islands
can be operated in grid-parallel mode.
If more than one Sunny Island is connected to the battery, a battery fuse unit
(Bat Fuse)
must be connected between the Sunny
Islands and the battery. This ensures that electricity is distributed to the Sunny Islands via fuse elements. In a cluster comprising
three Sunny Islands, one Sunny Island will serve as the Master, which will control the other two Sunny Islands as Slave 1 and Slave 2.
