Use the pre-installed long rack balancing cable in the cabinet con-
nector set

Connect the remaining battery modules on the right side, starting
from the bottom. Follow the specifications in section “5.9 Wiring
the battery modules” on page 22 et seq.
Using the pre-installed rack balancing cable

rack balancing “OUT” connection of the top battery module on the
right half of the battery cabinet to the rack balancing “IN” connec-
tion of the top module on the left half of the battery cabinet.

Possible malfunction of the battery storage system due to faulty BatCom wiring
Incorrect connection of the BAT-COM communication cable leads to malfunctions in battery operation.
Ensure correct wiring in accordance with section “5.9 Wiring the battery modules” on page 22 et.
seq.

Also note down the serial numbers/factory number of the battery inverter and peripheral devices
such as the SMA Data Manager M. Send the completed commissioning protocol to
