Check and monitor the commissioned components as they start up. Also, check the display on the air
conditioner casing on the inside of the battery cabinet. On the communication components, check the 24
V power supply
31
and the SMA Inverter Manager
P
, SMA Data Manager M
Q
and the switches
O
.
Put all slave storage systems into operation. Proceed in reverse order according to their position in
the master/slave configuration. Start with the last slave in the master/slave configuration and switch it
on using the On/Off switch (“SWITCH”)
17
of its APU HV1000-S.
9
The number of battery modules detected (14 or 16) is shown on the
slave storage system’s display. Confirm the correct number by
tapping twice on the marking
16
next to the display. If the number
of modules displayed is not the same as the actual number, check
the BAT-COM wiring. If the error persists, please email
[email protected] or contact the TESVOLT Service Line
+49 (0) 3491 8797 - 200. Once commissioning has been completed
successfully, the status changes to “CAN-FLT”.
10
Switch on the next slave storage system and proceed as in steps
4
and
5
, i.e. as for commissioning
the first slave.
11
Once all the slave storage systems have been commissioned, the master cabinet can be started. To do
this, press the ON/OFF switch “SWITCH”
17
on the APU HV1000-S.
12
Unlike the slave APUs, the master initially requests the number of
“strings”. The number of strings corresponds to the number of stor-
age systems in the master/slave configuration
(e.g. slave 1 = 2 strings ). Confirm the correct number by
tapping twice next to the display. In the event of deviations, check
the CAN IN –> CAN OUT cabling, the termination and the addressing.
Then insert the fuses in the slave cabinets. If the error occurs again,
please email [email protected] or contact the TESVOLT Service
Line +49 (0) 3491 8797 - 200.
13
The number of battery modules detected (14 or 16) is now shown
on the master APU’s display. Confirm the correct number by tap-
ping twice. In the event of deviations, check the BAT-COM wiring. If
the error continues to occur regardless, please email
[email protected] or contact the TESVOLT Service Line
+49 (0) 3491 8797 - 200.
14
Tap beside the display again to access the next menu item. You
will now be shown the assigned IP address, which must start with
192.168.4. ….
The IP address is required to commission the SMA STPS 60.
