10. Scrub as required. Adjust the solution flow to
match floor conditions. When the recovery
tank float stops vacuum, return to the
solution dump/filling site. Drain the recovery
tank, empty the debris tray, and refill the
solution tank.

Or Fire. Do Not Pick Up.
TO DRAIN RECOVERY TANK AND EMPTY
DEBRIS TRAY
1. Park the machine next to a floor drain. Stop
the engine and set the machine parking
brake.
FOR SAFETY: Before Leaving Or Servicing
Machine; Stop On Level Surface, Set Parking
Brake, And Turn Off Machine.
NOTE: For machines serial number 004369 and
above, the filter shaker by-pass switch should be
in the “off” position to prevent the filter shaker
from shaking.
2. Remove the recovery tank drain hose from
its retention plug. Lower the hose to the floor
drain to drain the tank.
NOTE: The tank will not empty with the vacuum
fan operating.

3. Replace the hose on the retention plug after
the tank is empty.
4. Lift the debris tray handle off its hanger and
pull the tray out from under the solution
tank. Empty and replace it.

POST OPERATION CHECKLIST – ENGINE
OPERATING
Check scrub brush pattern for width and
evenness.
Check squeegees for proper deflection.
TO STOP MACHINE
1. Move the solution lever into the off position
and place the main brush lever into the
(Main Brush Up) position 10 ft (3 mm)
before stopping the machine.
2. Lift the squeegee lever into the up position.
3. Place the solution spreader tube in the up
position.
4. Pull the side brush arm into the raised
position.
