• Open the pigtail cable loops and straighten them on the fl oor as straight as possible and try to keep
them parallel. Take care that the cables don’t cross each other. Keep all the patch panels still in their
packages.
• Set the patch panel packages in their order carefully beside the FINNFLASH 1000 frame.
• Push the ends of the pigtail cables through their panel frames and guide them to the management
hooks on the right side of the inner frame.
• Guide the ends of the pigtail cables bundled to the lower part of the inner frame and bring them
outside the frame below the lowest fi xing plate and then upwards or downwards depending on the
case.
• Push and set the pigtail cables to their positions on the front side of the frame avoiding crossings and
without causing damages to the patch panel packages.
• Simultaneously pull the bundled pigtail cables behind the frame and then forward towards a splicing
point (splice cabinet, joint closure etc.).
• At the end of this pulling stage take the patch panels one by one from their packages and mount them
carefully into their frames and lock with two fi nger screws.
• Note. Do not fi x the pigtail cables to management hooks of the inner frame – leave them as loose as
possible.
