• Fasten the panel frame from its lower fi xing holes to the inner frame of FINNFLASH 1000 with two
screws included in the package. Install the fi rst panel of the frame into the highest place of the inner
frame.
• Open the pigtail cable loop of the panel and straighten it on the fl oor as straight as possible and keep
the panel still in its package.
• Push the pigtail cable through the panel frame and guide it to the management hooks on the right
side of the inner frame.
• Guide the end of the pigtail cable directly to the lower part of the inner frame and bring it outside
the frame below the lowest fi xing plate and then upwards or downwards depending on the case.
• Cut the binders with which the panel is fi xed in the package and take the panel out from the
package.
• Mount and lock the panel to the panel frame with two fi nger screws.
• Note. Do not fi x the pigtail cable to management hooks of the inner frame – leave it as loose as
possible.
5.2.3 Installation of several patch panels simultaneously
• Fasten the panel frames to their positions in the inner frame of FINNFLASH 1000 . Install the fi rst
panel of the frame into the highest place of the inner frame.
• Mark the end of each pigtail cable with an individual number.
