Operation Manual

The
Frequency 1 (2)
rows contains two check-boxes with default transmitter frequencies.
No corrections in this check-box are permitted, with the exception for the check-box type,
situated at the end of the
Frequency2 169.700 mHz
row (“No.2 Frequency Activation”).
Select this check-box to use the second transmitter frequency. Otherwise the check-
boxes in the second column of the
advanced 2
screen shall remain inactive.
Set the parameters for identifying the transmitter in the
address
,
system
and
Group
check-boxes. The interval of acceptable values for each check-box varies according to
the selected protocol.
Note:
The programme allows for two values to be introduced for each of the above
mentioned three check-boxes. This can be useful in case only one transmitter is to be
used simultaneously by two sites, where the first address from left to right belongs to
the first site.
The TP2000 v.7.X Transmitter supports three protocols: Electronics Line, LARS and
LARS1. Press
and select the name of the required protocol in the
Protocol
check-
box.
Press
and select any of the presented options in the
Parity
check-box, according to
the monitoring station in use:
• NONE
• ODD
• EVEN
Some of the fields are active only when a certain protocol is set (for example, the
Group
and
Parity
check-boxes are inactive when the Electronics Line Protocol has been
selected). In all other cases it is not permitted to add data therein.
Enter a time interval, needed to send a text message, in the
Test Time
field.
Enter the value of a random time component for sending text messages in the
Test
Delay
field.
Such time values can be set in hours and minutes.
When introducing any parameters, follow whether they observe the permissible
intervals. Otherwise the programme will display a trouble message when
attempting to load the file.
