Performance Tests

TDS 410, 420 & TDS 460 Service Manual (Company Confidential Final Draft)

Subtract the trigger level readout from the DC calibration genera-
tor setting. The result is the trigger level accuracy.

CHECK that the trigger level is accurate to within

18 mV.

Press TRIGGER MENU. Press the main-menu button Slope;
then press the side-menu button for negative slope. (See icon at
left.)

Subtract the trigger level readout from the DC calibration genera-
tor setting. The result is the trigger level accuracy.

CHECK that the trigger level is accurate to within

18 mV.

Disconnect the hookup:

First set the output of the DC calibration generator to 0 volts.

Then disconnect the cable from the generator output at the input
connector of CH 1.
