Procedure
Perform this procedure for each channel.

Note the position of the displayed trace (it should be near the center of the

Connect the BNC T Connector to the CH 1 input connector, with the DVM
connected.
Set the
Offset to 40 V. Connect the alligator clips to the Power Supply
and set the voltage
that the displayed trace returns to the position noted in
step a.
CHECK-that the difference between the
Offset reading and the DVM
reading is less
shown in Table 2-5.
Disconnect the Power Supply and set
Offset to 0.
Repeat steps a through for each Ven Size and Offset shown in Table 2-S.
When testing with small voltages, it may help to install a resistor in series and a
SO termination in parallel between the power supply output and the coaxial
cable that you can set the voltages with better resolution.
