Whether and how a printer is used by several systems is specified here:

 Exclusive access:

The printer is used exclusively by the MultiLevel system.

 Shared access:

The printer interfaces of several systems are connected to one common printer. 

The printer manager (parameter 3124) controls access.

 Network:

The printer is connected only to the printer manager (parameter 3124). If other 

systems want to print, they must send the print data via CAN bus to the printer 

manager.
